My Fellow Australians,
These are glorious days! Our Prime Minister is visiting every crook and nanny , I mean nook and cranny, of the land listening to his people and telling them the good news. He will be re-elected! Well, he hopes so anyway. I have never seen my Prime Minister look so natty! I have been following his every motion, and I love his steaming vision of our future - nuclear power, rates of interest that are low, houses for all, exports, etc.
And of course I have just had to pen a little verse and I hope it will speed John along his way. I want you to know, John, that though not every woman looks up to you, my heart pounds when I see you striding out beside the lake in your gear.
